The Governing Board of CAVA ensures that all students have access to the instructional materials, equipment, and resources necessary to fully engage in online learning. This includes items such as computer peripherals, assistive technologies, and course-related supplies.

Each elementary, middle, and high school student at CAVA is eligible to receive a loaned computer, shipped directly from K12, which must be returned when the student leaves the school. Students enrolled in CAVA’s transitional kindergarten (TK) and kindergarten are eligible to use a loaned tablet.

Students will not be required to pay any fees, deposits, or other charges to participate in educational activities essential to the instructional program. If a student or parent believes that an impermissible fee or charge is required, they may contact the school administration or file a complaint through the school’s Uniform Complaint Procedures.
