Spreading Holiday Cheer Across California: CAVA’s Annual Gingerbread Celebration

On December 12, our CAVA community came together for one of our favorite traditions of the year—the annual Gingerbread Celebration! This festive event brought holiday joy to students and families across the state, with celebrations held at five locations and welcoming more than 600 students.

Each location was filled with fun, creativity, and connection. Students enjoyed a variety of activities designed to spark laughter and holiday spirit, including a live magician, music, a photo booth to capture memories, and classic board games to enjoy with friends. Families also took part in holiday card making, seasonal crafts, and plenty of hands-on fun.

Of course, no Gingerbread Celebration would be complete without gingerbread house making! Students showed off their creativity as they decorated their own masterpieces—and everyone went home with CAVA swag to remember the day.

At CAVA, we love celebrating the holidays with our community and creating moments where students and families can connect beyond the classroom. The Gingerbread Celebration is a special reminder of the joy, creativity, and togetherness that make our community so unique.
