TK at CAVA

Early childhood education is critical for laying the groundwork for lifelong learning, and transitional kindergarten (TK) plays a vital role in this journey. We offer a TK program that emphasizes foundational education, play-based learning, and Learning Coach involvement, creating a supportive environment for young learners.

Play-Based Learning

At the heart of our TK program is a commitment to play-based learning, which is essential for enhancing cognitive and emotional development in young children. In this virtual setting, we provide interactive activities that encourage children to learn through play, exploration, and creativity.

The well-structured curriculum (Embark) features hands-on activities designed to stimulate curiosity and build an understanding of foundational concepts. By focusing on literacy and joyful exploration, our approach blends care with innovative technology to create an engaging learning environment.

Embark Curriculum

Our TK program utilizes Embark, an award-winning transitional kindergarten curriculum developed by a team of developmental psychologists and educators. This curriculum includes high-quality online and offline learning experiences, exposing children to core subjects in an engaging manner. Courses are highly interactive, featuring audio and visuals to help children follow along and can be tailored to each child’s unique learning style and pace.

Parental Involvement

Learning Coach involvement is a cornerstone of our TK program. Understanding that early childhood education is a collaborative effort, we provide resources and tools that empower LCs to actively engage in their children’s learning journeys. By encouraging LCs to participate in their child’s education, we strengthen the connection between home and school. LCs are invited to assist with projects and engage in meaningful discussions about their child’s progress.
